Hey! Thanks for visiting my blog!

The letter craft is really easy - I bought my letter in the wood crafting section in Hobby Lobby. They are just $2 normally.

I traced the letter onto scrapbook paper and then cut it out. After that, I used Martha Stewart's gel adhesive to glue the paper to the letter. You could use Mod Podge to adhere it if you want to, but I think that plain 'ol gel adhesive works just fine.

After you glue the paper on , the MOST important part is to use a fine sandpaper to sand the edges of the paper/letter to make it look aged. It also covers imperfections in cutting skills!

I like to cover the sides of my letter w/contrasting paper, but that's just me. You could also paint the sides/inside of the letter if you don't want to the hassle of papering it.

After sanding, I use the Distress Ink stamp pad in Walnut stain to "dirty up" the paper and make it look old. You can find Distress Ink in the stamping section of Hobby Lobby or Michaels.

Finally - I embellish w/ random things on the scrapbooking aisle.

Total cost is like $5 at the most.
Hope you have fun making it!

For Wyatt it was Lucas and I can't remember...

For Caleb it was Chase and Jack.

Crazy how things turn out!
